Inver Energy are currently recruiting for an experienced Office Administrator for our brand new Service station in Macroom.

The Office Administrator will report to the Store Manager.

The Office Administrator will be responsible for managing office activities to ensure the highest level of productivity. The Office Administrator will be responsible for all general administrative functions in the store.

The Office Administrator is organized, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities and Duties

Some key duties will include:

  • Supporting with Customer service/sales administration
  • Assisting with invoice processing
  • Reconciling all types of tender
  • Reporting any cash, sales, inventory, and accounts payable discrepancies or suspicious activity to the Store Manager
  • Preparing bank deposits and balances cash receipts
  • Entering data for store invoices and/or reconciles invoices
  • Answering phone calls and assisting customers and colleagues with any queries
  • Completing ad hoc reports as requested by the Store Manager
  • Recording standard accounts payable and accounts receivable entries on a daily and monthly basis
  • Reviewing purchase orders ensuring information is accurate and submits supporting paperwork to accounts
  • Providing administrative support to the store / head office where required
  • Taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the Store Manager

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous administration and / or accounts experience
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for running the Deli Department on a day to day basis to meet Inver Store customer expectations. You will do this by ensuring all customers receive the highest level of range, hygiene, value and quality of Deli Products and by leading the team on a journey of excellence in customer service and their own development.

The key roles and responsibilities involved in this role include

  • Ensuring all HACCP and food safety standards are met, and that all documentation is up to date
  • Handling stock and waste control of the Deli products
  • Bringing forward new ideas to increase sales and standards within the department
  • Managing the day to day management of the Deli operations and the employees to improve sales performance
  • Supervising employees in various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging, and operating counters
  • Managing product storage, maintenance and rotation activities to avoid any damages or spoilage
  • Ensuring that products are properly labelled with prices and dates
  • Dealing with customer queries to the highest possible standards
  • Encouraging an atmosphere of good Customer Service and team work within the Deli area
  • Completing any back office administrative duties as required
  • Assisting in preparation of inventory and sales budgets
  • Provide training to staff on company policies and sales guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • The ability to work in high-pressure situations
  • Previous fresh food / Deli Management experience
  • Food Safety and Hygiene HACCP course complete
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a high level of confidence
  • A strong work ethic
  • Ability to display professionalism and reliability

Inver Energy are currently recruiting for an experienced Store Supervisor for our brand new Service station in Macroom.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for running the Shop and forecourt area, on a day to day basis to meet Inver Energy Store customer expectations.

This is a full time role based in Macroom.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for the overall running of all aspects of the store
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels to ensure there is consistent offering
  • Ensure teams are briefed on store promotions and offers
  • Dealing with queries and complaints from customers and team
  • Assist store manager with interviewing, employing and training new staff
  • Promote and monitor quality service among staff through training and by acting as a positive role mode
  • Assume store manager responsibilities in his absence.

Safety, Health and Welfare at Work:

Ensuring high standards of signage, general housekeeping and hygiene, health and safety and security is maintained by complying with all Health and Safety Regulations particularly those pertaining to your role and report any breaches to store management. Also ensuring all company rules, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and carry out any other duties as requested by management from time to time.

Experience/ Qualifications:

  • Previous Supervisory experience is vital
  • A flair for Retail and the desire to excel in customer care is a must
  • Candidates must be flexible in their availability on working hours
  • Advanced knowledge of retail operations, practices and procedure

  • Leaving certificate or equivalent required
