Cork Penny Dinners recieve Inver Leading Lights 2021 donation of €1,000 nominated by Westlink Service Station!

€1,000 Inver ?Leading Lights? donation goes to Cork Penny Dinners thanks to our forecourt partners Westlink Service Station for nominating them! Both Joan and Gary were delighted to nominate such a fantastic organisation who go above and beyond for those in need especially within the last year due to Covid. Cork Penny Dinners is a warm dry place in the heart of Cork City serving fresh food and with a welcoming atmosphere. The premises is open to all 7 days a week all year round, No questions are asked, no judgements are made.

Cork Penny Dinners is one of Cork’s oldest caring charitable organisations. Currently serving up to 2000 freshly made meals per week are being served. Sometimes a cup of tea, a handshake or a friendly chat can go a long way towards beating the loneliness and isolation that is a big issue for many that come our way.

There has also been a huge increase in homelessness and mental health issues that are affecting so many people which have forced them to avail of their services. Their aims are simple – to help all who struggle and those in need. Cork Penny Dinners provide a hot nourishing meal of soup, main course, dessert and tea/coffee daily.

Inver are honoured to support a fantastic cause, thank you to Joan and Gary Virgo for nominating Cork Penny Dinners
