Inver Energy commences operations for Petrol in Cardiff

Inver Energy UK recently completed a major expansion of its oil terminal in Cardiff. The expansion included the construction of a new petrol tank, rail receipt facilities, biofuel facilities, and road loading gantries. The project was completed in partnership with Greenergy, the UK’s largest supplier of road transportation fuels. Greenergy will have exclusive use of the facilities.

Inver is delighted to announce that the first deliveries of petrol from our Cardiff terminal commenced on January 9th. The capability of our Cardiff terminal to receive petrol and other oil product by both ship and rail , will greatly enhance the security of oil supplies in South Wales and West of England”, said Chris O’Callaghan, Managing Director of Inver Energy UK.
