About Us
Supplying fuels in Ireland since 1984
Inver Energy was established in 1984 and has grown from a local fuel supplier into one of Ireland’s leading national fuel companies. The name comes from the Gaelic word for “estuary,” reflecting our roots in the Shannon Estuary and our ongoing operations at the Foynes terminal in Co. Limerick.
For over four decades, we have supplied a wide range of high quality fuels to service stations and commercial customers across Ireland. Since launching our retail brand in 2012, we have expanded to a network of nearly 120 forecourts nationwide.
In 2017, Inver Energy was acquired by Greenergy, an international supplier and distributor of transport fuels and manufacturer of biodiesel from wastes.
