Navigating change while continuing to deliver excellent service
The Ireland’s Forecourt and Convenience Retailer published an interview with Inver’s Managing Director John O’Leary in their Forecourt Retailer Yearbook 2026, on how Inver has prioritised safety and operational performance across its retail network, while introducing innovative solutions to continue delivering excellent service.
The interview reflects on the current fuel landscape in Ireland, shaped by regulatory change and the ongoing shift towards renewable fuels. It highlights HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) as a key solution in supporting higher renewable fuel content, and how Inver’s is well positioned to meet demand and regulatory requirements.
John also shared details of the newly introduced Inver Fuel Pod, launched in Clonmel at the end of 2025. The Inver Fuel Pod is an above ground modular refuelling solution, designed to offer flexibility for retailers and commercial customers, with reduced upfront capital investment and ongoing maintenance costs.
The interview also outlines how Inver supports its forecourt partners through the Inver Advantage, providing tools and expertise to help them grow their business.
