Inver collaborates with FTA Ireland and industry leaders to launch key report on Irish Fleet Decarbonisation

A collaborative effort between industry leaders has resulted in a report titled “Decarbonising the Road Freight Sector Ireland.” Launched this Tuesday by FTA Ireland, this comprehensive report highlights the importance of coordinated efforts between government and industry to pave the way for a sustainable, zero-emission future.

The report, produced in partnership with key industry players including Inver Energy, analyses existing European and national legislation governing commercial fleet operations. It provides insights and practical advice guiding fleet operators through a seamless transition towards reducing the carbon emission in their fleets.

Daniel Fitzpatrick, Commercial Director at Inver Energy, commenting on the role of biofuels in this transition, stated, “HVO represents a key transition solution for decarbonising fleets that will be on the road for the next decade, with an immediate result in lowering carbon emissions by up to 90% without the need to change technology. At Inver, we are committed to providing sustainable, high-quality fuel solutions that support our customers’ efforts towards reducing emissions.”
