Inver Retail Conference and Awards 2026

On Thursday 24th of September, Inver forecourt partners from across the country gathered at The Europe Hotel & Resort in Killarney for the Inver Retail Conference and Awards 2026.

The day began with a programme focused on the issues shaping the forecourt sector and the opportunities ahead for Inver’s dealer partners. Speakers shared updates on market developments, fuel supply, risk analytics, regulatory changes and the transition towards lower-carbon transport fuels.

Inver Managing Director John O’Leary and Head of Risk and Supply Éanna Black were joined by Adam Traeger, CEO of Greenergy, who provided a wider Group perspective on the international fuel sector and changing market conditions.

The second session opened with Kevin McPartlan, CEO of Fuels for Ireland, who discussed the market outlook and the future of transport fuels. Ben Lenihan, Inver’s Retail Director, focused on the dealer experience and the support available to Inver’s partners, while Anna Hickey, Inver’s Communications and Marketing Manager, highlighted the impact of the Leading Lights community support programme, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year.

The Inver Retail Awards took place that evening, with ten awards presented to recognise the forecourts, teams and individuals delivering high standards across the Inver network. The categories celebrated excellence in forecourt and store operations, strong community connections, long-standing industry contributions and the people whose commitment and dedication are an integral part of the day-to-day running of their businesses.

Murphy’s Inver Dromcummer received the Neighbourhood Forecourt of the Year award

Sarah Flynn of Inver Castlegregory was named Team Member of the Year

Inver’s Area Sales Manager Barry Coll, Lorraine McCannon, Sarah Flynn, Inver’s Retail Fuels Director Ben Lenihan, Inver’s Area Sales Manager Keith McGouran, Paul McCannon and Inver’s Area Sales Manager Kevin O’Sullivan.

Dempsey’s Inver Portarlington received the Community Forecourt of the Year award 

Inver’s Managing Director John O’Leary, Linda and Roy Dempsey, and Greenergy’s CEO Adam Traeger.

Natalia Buszta of Inver Clane was named Rising Star of the Year

Agnieszka Maslanka, Inver’s Area Sales Manager Keith McGouran, Natalia Buszta, Wasif Ali and Szymon Maslanka.

O’Brien’s Inver Bishopstown received the Destination Forecourt of the Year award 

Inver’s Managing Director John O’Leary, Anthony O’Brien, Michelle O’Brien and Greenergy’s CEO Adam Traeger.

Inver Castlecomer Road was named Store of the Year (Company Owned and Operated)

Inver’s team: Retail Operations Manager David O’Brien, Retail Area Manager Niamh Drummond, Forecourt and Store Manager at Inver Macroom Junction Debbie O’Donoghue, Forecourt and Store Manager at Inver Castlecomer Road Ann Marie Maher, Forecourt and Store Manager at Inver Tipperary Bansha Road Catriona Coughlan and Head of Retail Convenience Billy Massey.

Gaven O’Connor of Inver Adams of Glin was named Manager of the Year

Farrell’s Inver Tyrrellspass received the Heart of the Community award 

Inver’s Retail Fuels Director Ben Lenihan, Jamie Farrell and Catherine Allinson.

Tom Ryan received the Lifetime Achievement Award
