Inver Punches Cross are finalists in Ireland’s Forecourt & Convenience 2016 Retailer Awards
These awards represent the pinnacle of convenience and forecourt retailing across the Republic of Ireland. Irish forecourt and Convenience magazine stated they received hundreds of entries and the competition was ‘fierce’. Each applicant underwent a comprehensive judging process by the magazines independent adjudicators Spotcheck.
The two nominations are: finalists in the Newcomer of the Year category and finalists in the Forecourt Category 1 with C Store up to 1100 sq ft.
Shane and Michael Gleeson operate the Punches Cross service station and the attached Spar Shop and deli. The brothers also operate Spar shops in Catherine Street and Henry Street and the new Inver forecourt in Castletroy, Limerick.
Shane stated, ‘We wanted to expand our business and take it in a new direction, it’s an exciting time to do something different, spar shops within service stations are moving faster than any other segment of the business. Inver really make working with them a collaborative effort and they communicate well and endeavour to assure success. We are delighted with the two nominations for the Inver Punches Cross service station.
