Johnstown Community Playground Committee met with Dick Daly, Inver Johnstown and Ben Lenihan, Inver’s Retail Director to receive Inver’s Leading Lights sponsorship. Dick Daly presented the cheque to the committee on behalf of Inver.

Johnstown does not have a playground, there are no amenities for small children and there isn’t a safe place for them to run and play in the community.  The local church very kindly donated  land on the Rathdowney Rd and planning permission for the playground has been granted.

The committee are hoping to get the playground developed and completed by the end of this year and we wish them every success in this wonderful endeavour.
