Inver saved 2,534 meals with Too Good To Go in 2025

In 2025, customers saved 2,534 meals from going to waste through the Too Good To Go app across Inver’s 18 company operated service stations in Ireland. According to the Too Good To Go Environmental Impact Equivalency Calculator, that is estimated to represent 6,841 kg CO2e emissions avoided. The calculator compares this to around 252 car journeys from Dublin to Cork, giving a sense of the overall scale.

The partnership supports Inver’s focus on running stores efficiently and making better use of surplus stock. Instead of perfectly good food going unsold, customers can reserve a Surprise Bag through the app and collect it from their nearest participating Inver store. Surprise Bags typically include fresh bakery items, deli sandwiches, salads, fruit and general groceries, for €3.99.

“Our partnership with Too Good To Go is a practical way to improve operational efficiency and make better use of store resources,” said Billy Massey, Head of Retail Convenience at Inver. “We will continue building on this progress throughout 2026, helping tackle food waste while offering great value for customers.”
